Outdoor Program Barn
Environmental stewardship, active lifestyles, adventure, and a community focus all define the UO Outdoor Program. Available to all University of Oregon students and community members, the program provides a variety of services, including gear and bike rental for outdoor trips.
The UO Outdoor Program also offers opportunities to learn outdoor skills such as kayaking and bicycle maintenance. Periodically, they host overnight group camping and hiking trips to destinations such as the Umpqua National Forest.
The program started in 1967 with the OP Cooperative and has grown to include gear rental services and overnight trips. The UO Outdoor Program has become a trusted resource for information, clinics, events and gear rental for kayaking, camping, bicycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.
