Carbone's Fly Fishing Guide Service
Whether you have a tackle box full of damselflies and cone heads, or dont yet know a back cast from a drift, there are few places as beautiful for fly fishing as Oregon's High Desert Rivers. Carbone's Fly Fishing Guide Service has been riding the rivers with their guests since 1986. Explore the amazing scenery of the desert river canyons. Enjoy the excitement of catching steel heads, small mouth bass, wild trout and rainbow trout.
Guests select from single or multi-day guided fishing trips down the Deschutes or John Day. The camping boat scouts the way, landing ahead of the fishing party to prepare spacious tents and cots, and delicious meals. For a shorter excursion, the Crooked River half-day or full day trip reveals stunning views at every turn. Drift boats carry the party gently down the rivers providing spectacular scenery and plenty of time for that perfect cast.
To round out their trip, guests can commission Rodger Carbone to recreate in their favorite fish scene. Fish sculptures including intricate depictions of their natural habitat are a passion of Mr. Carbone, and a beautiful addition to keep fly fishing memories alive.
