San Francisco Ghost Hunt
Paranormal researcher Jim Fassbinder, who has appeared on the Travel Channel series Haunted Hotels, offers a casual but serious-minded ghost hunt for those who are fascinated by extraordinary phenomena. The tours run Wednesday through Sunday. No reservations are required for these city tours. The group meets in the lobby of the Queen Anne Hotel at 7:00 p.m., and returns from the walking tour by 10:00 p.m. to explore some ghostly hotspots in the hotel.
These tours attract serious students of the paranormal, and clients are encouraged to bring any ghost-detecting devices they wish to test. Electromagnetic field detectors pick up lots of activity in the hotel, but since the Queen Anne is a fully operating hotel, some of that may be from the hotel equipment. Many San Francisco Ghost Hunt clients report feeling cold spots at various locations on the tour; this is thought to be an indication of paranormal activity. Several clients have shared their tour photos, which contain unexplained balls of light commonly thought to indicate ghostly activity.
