Buffalo tours is a program of Preservation Buffalo Niagara that educates the public about the beautiful architecture, culture, and fascinating history of the Buffalo-Niagara area. They do this through guided city tours, written guides for private bus tours, organizing school field trips, and through educational public speaking events.
The Queen City Downtown tour is given every Friday and Saturday mornings at ten am. This tour highlights the very best in architecture in downtown Buffalo. Another regular tour is the Tours of Buffalo City Hall which takes place Monday through Friday at 12 pm, excluding government holidays. There is a variety of tours held throughout the year focusing on the unique buildings and history in the area as well as special events held at stunning locations throughout the city.
The majority of tours are on a first come first serve basis. Occasionally tours will accept reservations, and RSVP's will be held under the name given at the event. The usual length of a tour is normally two hours.
