Eco Central Park Tours
An outstanding way to view Central Park is with pedicab tours. These tours are not only a sustainable way to tour much of the 843-acre park, but also allow you to see many of the major landmarks in the park. One landmark almost sure to be on the tour is the carousel that was originally built for Coney Island in 1908 and then moved to this location. Another landmark that will probably be on your tour is the Cherry Hill Plaza. As you look at the fountain, realize that it was designed by Jacob Wrey Mould as a place to tie horses and give them a drink of water. You will also want to pay attention to Strawberry Fields. Each tree within the field was given in memory of John Lennon by a different country. These are just a few of the many landmarks that your friendly pedicab tour guide will tell you about.
