Barbary Coast Trail
San Francisco has a long and colorful history that sounds as though someone took the city out of a fantasy novel. From pirates on the Barbary Coast to a city-wide fire that would do Nero proud, city tours always have much to talk about. However, Barbary Coast Trail likes to take things a step further. Founder Daniel Bacon offers guided tours. making an effort to help tourists with disabilities enjoy a path leading nearly four miles throughout the city's most historical moments.
Barbary Coast Trail offers four themed city tours exploring the history and culture that sets San Francisco apart. For those who like to venture out solo, the trail is marked with 170 bronze emblems and arrows and is connected with the Powell-Hyde cable car line, allowing people to easily join the route at almost any point and return to that spot again. Barbary Coast Trail also offers three rich audio tours and two printed tour guides so that both guided and solo tourists will have a memorable time.
